Woman 'Struck By Multiple Vehicles' Laid Down In The Street, Harrisburg Police Say
The woman who died after being hit by "multiple vehicles" in central Pennsylvania on Tuesday, January 24, 2023— committed suicide, authorities announced the following Thursday. The Harrisburg police were called to a report of a pedestrian struck in the 1600 block of State Street around 6 p.m., according to a release by the department the following morning. Upon arrival, the officers found a woman who "had been struck by multiple vehicles," the police state in the release. She was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition and later died as a result of their injuries. …

PA Man Acquitted Of Murder Charge: Report
A 41-year-old central Pennsylvania man was acquitted of attempted murder this week, PennLive reports. Patrick Brown was accused of fatally shooting another man on Dec. 11, 2020, on the 1400 block of State Street in Harrisburg, the outlet says. Brown was charged after the victim identified him as the shooter from a series of photos of Brown and seven other people, police told the outlet. One Person Shot In Harrisburg, Say Area Police
One person was injured in an early morning shooting on Sunday, according to Harrisburg police. The shooting occurred in the area of North Second and State streets around 3:30 p.m. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
