An affidavit of probable cause obtained by Daily Voice sheds new light on why a Dauphin County Corrections Officer has been charged in connection with "excessive use of force" at the county Judicial Center, as District Attorney Fran Chardo announced on Friday, March 29, 2024. Scott Petrasic, 34 of Harrisburg was charged with two misdemeanors for simple assault and official oppression, in connection with an "incident" on Feb. 24, as stated in the release.
