Rt. 283 In Central Pennsylvania Reopens Following Crash: PennDOT
UPDATE: The crash on Route 283 on Nov. 23 cleared around 10:30 a m., according to PennDOT. No additional information was released. ORIGINAL: A crash has shut down a portion of Route 283 in Lancaster County on Wednesday Nov. 23, according to PennDOT. All lanes heading east have closed between the Exit to Route 722 toward Landisville, and the Exit to Route 741 toward East Petersburg and Millersville, according to PennDOT's 511PA. Authorities ID Man, 36, Killed In I-76, PA Turnpike Crash
The man who died in Monday morning’s fatal turnpike crash has been identified. A utility truck crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on I-76 by mile marker 246.6 at 9:17 a.m. according to PA Turnpike officials. The utility truck driver died at the scene and a coroner was called, according to Emergency Dispatch Services. The driver has been identified by officials as Kevin Hostetter, 36 of Myerstown, Lebanon County, according to WGAL News 8. Traffic was diverted to Route 283, I-83 and I-81 for hours. HIM? Lancaster Police Seek Driver Charged In Road Rage Incident
A man charged with recklessly endangering another person following a road rage incident is wanted by the Lancaster police. Jessi Rosario-Estremera, 25 of Lancaster was charged with recklessly endangering another person and multiple summary traffic offenses after a road rage incident on Route 283 on Dec. 7. A warrant has been issued for Rosario-Estremera after he failed to appear for his preliminary hearing.
