A registered sex offender convicted in Oklahoma has escaped from police in Pennsylvania — again. Dave Luther Kendrick, 35, original of Stillwater, Oklahoma escaped the Keystone Correctional Facility located at 7201 Allentown Boulevard, West Hanover Township, Dauphin County, by going to a doctor's appointment, according to a release by the Pennsylvania State Police on Oct. 2. A convicted burglar who absconded from justice has been arrested. Taleek Azan Perez, 25, of Lancaster was arrested by the US Marshal Fugitive Task Force in the 100 block of South Third Street in Columbia Borough around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, according to the Columbia Borough of Police, who assisted the marshals. A Pennsylvania man on parole for a 2004 killing was wanted by authorities for assaulting his girlfriend, who he shot and killed her on Christmas in Maryland then fled to West Virginia, authorities said.
