The woman killed in a fiery three-vehicle on Route 283 in Dauphin County on Tuesday morning has been identified. Melissa 'Missy' Lynn Deroba, 49, of Middletown, died an accidental death due to smoke inhalation and thermal burns, according to Dauphin County Press Secretary Jennifer Fitch. A tractor-trailer rear-ended Missy's grey 2005 Ford Escape, bursting into flames, as the truck continued to rear-end another tractor-trailer — becoming stuck under the passenger side of the trailer, according to a Pennsylvania State Police release the following morning. A woman has been cited in connection to a crash into a firetruck heading to a house fire on Thursday, according to a Pennsylvania State Police release on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Paula C. A 70-year-old Maryland man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Pennsylvania during the snowstorm on Tuesday, Nov. 15, authorities say. Jeff Shook was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox along Route 96, also known as Hyndman Road, in Londonderry Township when he lost control of the vehicle, Pennsylvania state police say. 21-Year-Old Dies In Central PA Crash: State Police
A 21-year-old man has died following a crash along Route 283 on Saturday, Apr. 23, according to a release by Pennsylvania state police. The crash happened when a 2020 Toyota Camry left the roadway, crossed a grassy median, and struck a pole along RT 283 eastbound near mile marker 4.2 in Londonderry Township just after 6 a.m., police detailed in the release. Arjun Subba-Gurangai of Harrisburg died at the scene of the crash, police say. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the deadly crash, the police state in the release. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

A contractor has died on Three Mile Island during a “material handling accident,” accident to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. A 20-year-old man died after crashing his car in Dauphin County woods early this week, authorities said. Trevor Binner of Palmyra was trapped in his vehicle when firefighters found his vehicle arrived in woods off Rountop Road around 12:45 p.m. Monday, police said. Crash Into Tree Leaves One Dead In Dauphin County
One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Londonderry Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Police were called to the crash at 297 Round Top Road in Middletown on Monday around 12 p.m. The driver was heading westbound when they lost control and crashed into a tree, according to PSP. The driver was extricated via mechanical means and transported to Hershey Medical Center, where they later died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver's identity has not been released.
