Pittsburgh Driver Who Killed 2 At Violent NJ Car Rally Sentenced A Pennsylvania man will spend at least two decades in prison for killing two people during an illegal car rally in Wildwood, authorities said. Gerald White, 38, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced on Thursday, Feb. 8 to 25 years in prison, for killing two people at the violent H2oi car rally in 2022, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland announced.  White has a long history of traffic violations in New Jersey, dating back to 2005. Gerald White has multiple pages filled with charges going back nearly two decades, New Jersey court records show. His first charge was for unsafe driving in 2005, which was followed by charges for wearing a seatbelt, jumping a red light, blocking traffic, parking in a bus zone, not having a license or insurance card in the car, and improper turning. Pittsburgh Driver Charged With Killing Two Victims During H2Oi Event In Wildwood A Pittsburg driver has been charged will killing two people and trying to flee during the H2oi car meetup Saturday, Sept. 24 in Wildwood, authorities announced. Gerald J. White, 37,  was behind the wheel of a 2003 Infinity when he struck a 2014 Honda Civic near Burk and Atlantic avenues, and then two pedestrians around 9:35 p.m., Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Wildwood Police Chief Robert Regalbuto said.  The 18-year-old pedestrian, Lindsay Weakland, of Carlisle, PA, was pronounced dead at the scene.
