The details about the death and life of a kayaker found in the Susquehanna River nearly two days after he went missing have been released. Brenton King's kayak was recovered by firefighters in the Susquehanna River, south of City Island, around 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, Harrisburg police said, as Daily Voice initially reported. An aspiring NFL player and college student has died following a crash in Maryland, according to his family. Daniel Elisha Worthy of Waynesboro died following a single-vehicle crash in the 500 block of Dual Highway on Wednesday night. Hagerstown police were called to a crash in the eastbound lanes around 9:45 p.m. on June 21, 2023, according to a release sent to Daily Voice the following week. A father and son from Pennsylvania got the surprise of a lifetime from a humpback whale while fishing on the Jersey Shore — and they got it on video. Zach Piller, 23, of Bensalem, took his phone out to capture his dad Doug's catch while fishing off coast of Belmar on Wednesday, Oct. 12. That's when the whale came lurching out of the water, smacking the side of the Pillers' boat. "Oh sh*t," Zach yells from behind the camera. "I got that on video!" A great white shark was spotted off the coast of Sea Isle City, and a boater caught it all on video. Jim Piazza of Media, Pennsylvania, posted the footage to Facebook. "Look at this monster.
