5 Teens Arrested In Philadelphia Carjacking Of Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon Delaware State Police have arrested five suspects hours after the gunpoint carjacking of Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon in South Philadelphia, authorities said Wednesday. Police recovered the 2017 Blue Acura MDX belonging to Rep. Scanlon around 9 p.m. at 2800 Fashion Center Boulevard in Newark, Delaware State Police said. Her car was stolen by two armed men after a meeting around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in FDR Park on Pattison Avenue, her office said in a statement.
