Anthony Williams Charged For Dan Maldonado's Murder A 23-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a Harrisburg dad on Saturday, authorities announced on Jan. 29.  Anthony K. Williams of Harrisburg was arrested at 8 a.m. on Monday for the murder of Daniel "Dan Lau" Maldonado, 33, also of Harrisburg, city police detailed in a release that evening. Inmate Dies Day Before Christmas At Dauphin County Prison An inmate at the Dauphin County Prison died overnight Saturday, Dec. 24, officials said. Richard A. Carter, 63, had a medical emergency shortly after midnight, prompting prison and medical staff to respond and administer life-sustaining treatment, including CPR and an AED, Dauphin County Spokesman Brett Hambright said. He was pronounced dead Saturday at 12:54 a.m. Carter was booked into the prison on Dec. 20 on a contempt charge, with bail set at $10,000. Two men and two children died, according to the Dauphin County Coroner. Lawsuit: Wife Of Dauphin County Inmate Who Died Of Suicide Suing Prison The wife of a former inmate of the Dauphin County Prison who alleged that her husband had hired a hit man to kill her is suing the prison for her husband's suicide while in their custody.  Linda Macauley on Monday filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Middle District Court in Harrisburg against the prisons, seeking more than $150,000 in damages. Macauley claims her husband was supposed to be monitored every 15 minutes following threats of self-harm.
