Dead Body Found In Central Pennsylvania: Authorities (Developing) Someone was found dead in Enola on Saturday, authorities announced.  The person was found in the 700 block of Shaffer Street, East Pennsboro Township, Enola at 5:45 a.m. on March 9, according to the local police department which had officers called to investigate. The East Pennsboro Township EMS, and the Cumberland County Coroner's Office also assisted at the scene.  "The death in Enola is not Suspicious and an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow," Cumberland County Coroner Charles Hall told Daily Voice.  Check back here for updates on this developing situation.

Woman ID'd Following Crash In Cumberland County: Coroner An 81-year-old woman has died in a crash in Newburg, the  Cumberland County Coroner’s Office announced on Monday, Sept. 25.  The woman has been identified by the coroner as Betty J. Eyer of Newburg. She was the driver of a vehicle involved in a multiple-vehicle crash at the intersection of Enola and Three Square Hollow roads, Newburg, Hopewell Township at approximately 2:05 p.m. on Sept. 23, the coroner explained.  Her cause of accidental death was caused by multiple traumatic injuries, the coroner said.  The status of the other people involved is unknown.  The Shippensburg Fire Departm…

Upper Allen Police were performing a welfare check on residents in the 800 block of Grantham Road when they found the two bodies around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, July 1, they said. The incident is under active investigation by Upper Allen Police, the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office, and the Cumberland County Coroner’s Office.
