13-Year-Old On Scooter ID'd After Fatal Strike On Carlisle Pike, Coroner Says A 13-year-old boy was struck dead while riding a scooter across Carlisle Pike on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, according to a release by the Cumberland County Coroner’s Office the following day.  Jaron J. Lower Allen Township Police Department responded to a call of a stolen wallet from a purse at Weis Market on Lowther Road in Camp Hill on Jan. 31. The woman told police when she went to pay, that’s when she realized her wallet was missing. She believed that someone took her wallet while she was distracted selecting items off of the shelves. Officers were dispatched for a report of a purse stolen from her vehicle at a township park on Lisburn Road in Mechanicsburg 5 p.m. on April 7, authorities said. The victim reported that multiple credit and debit cards were stolen from her purse--which she had left in her vehicle--- and were being used a local businesses.
