26-Year-Old ID'd In Crash Into Pole On US Rt. 11: Cumberland Co. Coroner

A 26-year-old Newville man has died at the scene of a crash on US Route 11, according to a release by the Cumberland County Coroner on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Zacherie Cordell Miller was pronounced dead at the scene at 2085 Ritner Highway/US Route 11 in Carlisle around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Zach lost control, went up an embankment, sheared off a utility pole, and then rolled over, according to Coroner Charles Hall.

His accidental death was caused by blunt-force head trauma.

He was the only person in the vehicle.

This deadly crash remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police in Carlisle.
