West Chester Man Attacked His Uber Driver: Authorities A West Chester man accused of attacking his Uber driver early Friday morning now faces criminal charges, say borough police.  Investigators say Samuel A. Makowski assaulted the driver both inside and outside the car on the 500 block of South High Street around 2 a.m. Makowski, 19, is charged with strangulation, aggravated assault, simple assault, and related counts, the department said.  He was remanded to the Chester County lockup in lieu of his $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear before a judge on Nov. 21, according to state court records.

Female Groped On West Chester Street, Police Say Police are seeking the public's help identifying a man who they say groped a woman on a West Chester street last week. A "female victim" was walking south in the 50 block of South High Street around 12:25 a.m. on Sept. 14 when a group of three white, college-aged men was walking north toward her, West Chester police said. As the group of men passed her, one of them groped her breast and continued walking north, police said. The West Chester Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Ofc. Long at (610)-696-2700.

Watch: Video Captures West Chester Fight That Left One With Broken Jaw Police in West Chester are turning to the public for help identifying multiple suspects in a fight that left one person with a broken jaw and another with minor injuries. A surveillance video captured on 7-Eleven security cameras shows 15 to 20 people involved in a fight in the South High Street location's parking lot around 2:05 a.m. on Aug. 28, according to West Chester police.
