26-Year-Old Driver Dead In Overnight Lehigh Valley Crash: Coroner
A 26-year-old driver died in an overnight Lehigh Valley crash, officials said. Kendy V. Acosta-Gomez, of Whitehall Township, was driving on the 400 block of Basin Street in Allentown when his car left the roadway and struck a tree, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. It happened around 3:35 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26. Acosta-Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was Multiple Blunt Force Injuries due to Motor Vehicle Accident. The manner of death is was Accidental, Buglio said.

Lehigh Valley Thief Stole Over $70K From Victim's Bank Account: Police
A suspected fraudster is accused of siphoning nearly $75,000 from a Lehigh Valley resident's bank account, according to authorities. Aaron J. Pflum is charged with forgery, theft by deception, and related counts, said Forks Township police. Investigators believe 30-year-old Pflum walked into the Fidelity Bank at 1250 Braden Boulevard in September and used a phony ID to transfer $65,000 out of a victim's account. A Lehigh Valley woman is accused of "striking" and scratching police officers during her arrest. It happened in Forks on Thursday, June 15, township police wrote in a statement. Coroner IDs Body Pulled From Lehigh Valley Retention Pond
Authorities have identified the body found in a Lehigh Valley retention pond over the weekend. The victim was 75-year-old Phillip Zulauf of Lower Mount Bethel Township, said Northampton County Coroner Zakary Lysek in a statement. His body was recovered from the pond on Sunday, April 9, the coroner added. Lehigh Valley high school student and beloved brother Josué Santana Burgos died at Lehigh Valley Hospital on Thursday, Sept. 22. He was 15. Josué was homeschooled and until recently a student at Allen High School, his obituary says. Josué is survived by his loving parents, Alexis Santana and Olga Burgos; his sister, Marangeys Santana Burgos; as well as several extended family members and close friends.
