Thousands Raised For Man Shot During Botched Robbery In Philadelphia
Friends and loved ones are pitching in to help a Philadelphia man who was assaulted and shot during a robbery attempt last week. Anthony "Bubs" Pierson was walking home from the Ukrainian Club in Fairmount around 2 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, said his cousin Monica on GoFundMe. When he got to the corner of North 23rd and Aspen Streets, "two to three men" hopped out of a car and began robbing him at gunpoint, Monica wrote.
