Alleged Teen Killer From Botched Philly Carjacking Arrested By Marshals
A 15-year-old boy accused of killing a man who tried to intervene in a South Philadelphia carjacking was captured by US Marshals in Camden, New Jersey on Monday, Aug. 7. Rasheed Banks Jr. was arrested by the Marshals Service's New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, authorities said. The teen was sought by Philadelphia police for the July 12 shooting death of 50-year-old Michael Salerno, Daily Voice reported. Philly Fugitive On US Marshals 'Top 10' List Captured After NJ Standoff: Report
One of the US Marshals' "10 Most Wanted Homicide Fugitives" in Eastern Pennsylvania has been captured in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reported. Ramonte Foster, 18, of Philadelphia, was arrested Tuesday, May 17 when a Salem City police officer spotted him outside a home on Morrison Avenue at about 7:30 p.m., the outlet said.
