Wanted Suburban Philly Driver Leaving Crash Scene Had Loaded Gun, Meth: Police A driver who crashed his car in Chester County with warrants out for his arrest was found with a loaded handgun and a plastic baggie full of meth, authorities said. Benjamin Lawrence Snyder, 31, was trying to flee the crash on Catfish Lane in North Coventry, when police arrived around 4 p.m. Jan. 13, local police said. Snyder was detained upon police arrival pending confirmation of an active warrant out of Bucks County. Through the investigation, Snyder was found in possession of a fully-loaded 9mm handgun and a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine, North Coventry police said.  …

Pottstown Harley Rider Busted For DUI In North Coventry, Police Say A Pottstown man was busted on DUI charges while riding his motorcycle through North Coventry, authorities said. Officers stopped Jeffrey Lawrence, 49, after they noticed he failed to signal while making multiple turns on his Harley Davidson motorcycle on Sept. 3, North Coventry police said. Officers determined Lawrence was operating his motorcycle under the influence of an "intoxicating substance" and was subsequently arrested, police said. Lawrence was processed at the Pottstown Police Station and later released to his daughter. Charges will be filed with District Court 15-3-01.

When the victim signaled Robert Sammaritano, 58, of Gilbertsville, to pull over on Route 100 south near Temple Road, Sammaritano whipped out a baton, and struck the driver on March 23, North Coventry police said. The man was able to disarm Sammaritano before an off-duty fireman stopped to control the situation, police said. Drunk Pottstown Driver Crashes On Route 422 In ChesCo, Police Say A drunk driver who crashed her car into a Route 422 guardrail is facing several charges, police said. Officers responded to the eastbound side of the highway near mile marker 171.6 around 7:45 p.m. on March 22, where a white Chevrolet Equinox had hit a guide-rail head on, North Coventry police said. Sandy Zazueta, 35, of Pottstown, was the sole occupant and driver of the car, police said. Zazueta was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, authorities sayd.
