Troopers Among 5 Injured In New Year's Day Crash On I-95 In Delco, State Police Say A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 sent two Pennsylvania State Police troopers and three young men to area hospitals on New Year's Day. The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 near mile marker 5.3 in Chester City around 3:20 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2024, as detailed in the PA State Police release.  The troopers were helping a disabled driver of a gray 2012 Dodge Challenger in the left lane before the crash. Answers Sought In Chesco Man's 2020 Hit-Run Death State police in Chester County continue to investigate the hit-and-run crash that killed 23-year-old Nick Sullins more than two years ago.  Troopers were called to the intersection of Rt. 272 and Cemetery Road just after 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 6, 2020, after hearing reports of a pedestrian lying in the roadway, they said in a statement.  They arrived to find Sullins, of Nottingham, badly injured on the road. Two PA State Police Troopers Hurt In Crash Hazardous road conditions are to blame for the crash that injured two Pennsylvania state police troopers Wednesday, March 9 in Chester County, authorities said. The troopers were responding to a possible burglary in progress when they lost control of their patrol vehicle and slid off a slick road near the intersection of Baltimore Pike and University Road in Lower Oxford around 9:15 a.m., according to Trooper Kevin Kochka and CBS3. Both troopers were taken to Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE with non-life-threatening injuries, Trooper Kochka confirmed.
