A Langhorne man is charged with possessing child pornography and criminal use of a communications facility, according to Lower Southampton police. Authorities said Paul Kerr, 78, came under investigation after they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in January. Police executed a search warrant at Kerr's home and found over 100 offending images on the devices they seized, the department said. Philly-Area Wawa Shopper Attacks Employee During Argument: Police
Investigators in Bucks County are looking for the Wawa customer who attacked an employee behind the deli counter early this month. The assault happened around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 4 at the 676 Rosewood Ave. location in Trevose, Lower Southampton police said in a release. The customer had gotten into a verbal argument with the worker before removing his sweatshirt, going around the counter, and beating him, police said. Toddler Killed By Falling Tree In Lower Southampton
A 2-year-old child was killed by a portion of a falling tree over the weekend in Bucks County, according to the coroner. The child was at his Lower Southampton Township home with his mom and an older sibling when sudden, strong winds swept through the area on Saturday, April 22, Bucks County Coroner Meredith J. Buck said. The tree split, with a section approximately 25 to 30 feet long and 8 to 10 inches wide struck the boy. His mother and sibling were unharmed. A burglar from New Jersey tried to avoid capture by convincing a Pennsylvania homeowner that he was a plumber, authorities in Bucks County said. Lawrence Bimbo, 28, entered the Clover Lane home through an unlocked door in late July and walked inside the house even after being confronted by the owner, Lower Southampton police said. An "unruly" drunk man punched an officer during his arrest at a bowling alley in Pennsylvania, authorities said. A man who wrapped himself in vanilla-scented trash bags before robbing a gas station in Bucks County has been identified by police, they say. Jonathan Nelson, 30, is wanted in connection with the incident that happened in January 2021, at a Lower Southampton Sunoco station, according to authorities.
