Central PA Teacher Killed In 100 MPH Crash Had BAC 3X Over Legal Limit: Report

A central Pennsylvania mom and teacher who died when her car went off the road and careened through one building and into another had a blood-alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit, PennLive reports.

Amy Krick's car left Linglestown Road and went into Barbershop 160 and then Salon 160, located right next door, early Halloween morning, previously reported by Daily Voice.

Krick's Mazda was clocked at 101 mph and she had a BAC level of .214% at the tie of the crash, PennLive says citing Susquehanna Township Public Safety Director Robert Martin. The legal limit is 0.08%.

Krick was a teacher at the New Covenant Christian School and Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, according to her obituary. She is survived by her husband, Brian Krick, and daughters, Payton and Mya.

More than $3,400 had been raised for the family on a GoFundMe as of Jan. 7.
