Berks Woman Who Claimed To Find Injured Dog Was Actually The Owner, Troopers Say A Berks County woman who claimed that she found an injured dog and her dead puppies along the side of the road was actually the animal's owner, according to a release from state troopers.  Bryanna Wagner, a 23-year-old from Leesport, brought a dog to Zoe’s House Rescue in Sinking Spring on May 7, police said. Dog Found Abandoned And Sick In Berks Has Died, Rescuers Say A dog who was found abandoned and dying on the side of a Berks County road last weekend has died after days of lifesaving efforts by her rescuers, an animal welfare group says.  The dog was found by Berks residents sometime on Sunday, May 7 and quickly turned over to Zoe's House Rescue in Reading to help nurse her back to health, the organization said in a Facebook post.  The dog, named Sadie by the team at Zoe's, was in "rough shape" when at the time of her rescue, the team wrote.
