Bucks County Motorcyclist Dies In Route 72 Crash With Pickup Truck A Pennsylvania motorcyclist died in a crash on Route 72 in Burlington County, NJ Saturday, Sept. 16, authorities said. Eric Tomko, 47, of Bensalem, was heading east on Route 72 when he struck a westbound Chevrolet Silverado attempting a lefthand turn onto County Route 532 around 8:50 p.m. in Woodland Township, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said. Tomko was thrown from his bike, which entered the path of a Ford Escape traveling behind the Chevy, police said. Possible Fatality Reported In 3-Car South Jersey Crash Three people were airlifted to local hospitals in a Route 72 Saturday, July 9, authorities said. The multi-car crash was reported at 3:51 p.m. on the westbound side in Woodland Township, at milepost 55, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Alejandro Goez said. Both directions of the highway were closed near Savoy Boulevard for accident investigation.
