Man Charged After Stabbing Wife To Death In Reading Home A man was hospitalized after he allegedly stabbed his wife to death in their Reading home early Tuesday morning, authorities said.  Police arrived at a home in the 1400 block of Wayne Street shortly after 8:30 a.m. to find 44-year-old Patricia Torres dead with multiple stab wounds, according to a press release by the City of Reading Police Department. Officers also found Jose Torres, 51 in the home with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Torres was transported to Reading Hospital for medical treatment.
