The most decorated battleship in U.S. history is on the move. The USS New Jersey is scheduled to move from its dock in Camden on Thursday, March 21 when it will head to the Philadelphia Navy Yard for extensive dry-dock maintenance. Fake Federal Agent Steals Sailboat In PA River: Police
A man claiming to be a federal agent was chased down in a stolen sailboat in the Delaware River on Thursday, Aug. 16, according to authorities. City police were patrolling the river near Penn's Landing around 7 p.m. when a member of a sailing club flagged them down about a stolen vessel, the department said. A Philadelphia police boat cruised south and spotted the sailboat near the Walt Whitman Bridge, where a Coast Guard unit was already in pursuit, authorities said. Someone jumped from the Walt Whitman Bridge in Camden County, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The fall was reported at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 from the New Jersey side of the bridge, initial reports said. Camden Fire Department and Philadelphia FD marine units were responding. New Jersey State Police are seeking the public's help finding a suspect in a fatal road rage crash. State troopers responded to a single-car crash on Interstate 76 eastbound in Mount Ephraim at about 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 24. Louis E. Ciccanti Jr. was found fatally shot in his black 2004 Mercedes Benz 500, State Police said. State Police released the name of the driver found shot to death behind the wheel of his Mercedes Benz, which crashed along I-76 in Camden County.
