Fake Gun Locks Down Delco High School; Student Arrested A Delaware County high school was briefly locked down Thursday, Dec. 8 after administrators spotted a gun in a student's backpack that turned out to be fake.  In a statement issued to parents and staff Thursday afternoon, Wallingford-Swarthmore School District Superintendent Wagner Marseille said staff at Strath Haven High School in Wallingford were informed that a student might have had a firearm in their bag.  The school locked down at around 10:45 a.m. as Nether Providence police searched the building. Hit-Run Driver Sought In Philly Area School Bus Crash, Police Say Authorities in Delaware County are searching for the driver who they say crashed into a school bus and fled the scene.  Nether Providence Township police said a commercial truck hit a Wallingford-Swarthmore School District bus near the intersection of Providence Road and Meadow Lane just after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26.  No one on the bus was injured in the accident, officials added.  The truck is described as an orange tree trimming truck, possibly Asplundh brand, with a white commercial logo on the doors.
