Crash Causes Closure At US 222, US 422 In Berks County |(Developing) Part of US 422 has closed in Berks County due to a motor vehicle crash on Friday morning, according to the West Reading Police Department. The crash happened on US 422 Eastbound at 8:53 a.m. on Oct 13th, the police explained.  The crash has caused a temporary closure of all lanes between Exit: US 222 North/US 422 East - Reading/Allentown through Exit: US 422 East Business - Penn St/Reading, as of 9:09 a.m., according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
