Berks Man Beat Dog With Broom Handle On Video, Troopers Allege A 34-year-old Laureldale man is in police custody on animal cruelty charges, said state police in a release.  Tyrone H. Lane is accused of beating a 4-year-old Siberian husky with a wooden broom handle, according to troopers.
