2 Vehicle Rollover Crash Spills Fuel On I-81 In Lebanon County: PennDOT A crash involving an SUV and a tractor-trailer has shuttered part of Interstate 81 in Lebanon County, PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice.  The crash happened at mile marker 92 in Southern Lebanon County just before 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.  The tractor-trailer overturned and spilled diesel fuel— closing both lanes through Exit 100 into Schuylkill County, according to Schreffler.  It is unclear if anyone was hurt.  Follow Daily Voice for updates.

Tractor-Trailer Slams Into Railroad Bridge Full Of Train Cars In Pittsburgh (Photos; Videos) A tractor-trailer scrapped against the underpass of a railroad bridge— with a train on it— and ended up shearing off the roof of its trailer in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, August 31, authorities say.  Emergency crews were called to the incident on Eckert Street in Pittsburgh's Woods Run neighborhood around 2 p.m., according to Allegheny County dispatchers.  No injuries have been reported as of 4 p.m. but the roadway remained closed.  This is a developing story; follow Daily Voice for updates.

A tractor-trailer was stopped on the side of the road around 5:45 a.m. when a box truck traveling westbound near mile marker 29.3 in Tilden Township, struck the back of the tractor-trailer, Pennsylvania State Police said. 8-Year-Old Boy On ATV Struck, Killed By Tractor Trailer In Schuylkill County An 8-year-old boy was struck and killed by a tractor trailer Wednesday morning in Schuylkill County. The boy was riding an ATV and turning behind a garage on the property of a Hazel Street property at the same time as the trailer around 11:40 a.m. in Delano, Pennsylvania State Police said. The trailer driver did not see the boy and struck him with the rear, right tires, police said. The child was later pronounced dead. No further information was released.

The driver was extricated after being heavily pinned in the cab and pronounced dead.
