Troopers Seek Accused Child Sex Abuser With Ties To Monroe County State police are looking for Edward J. Massey Jr.  Troopers said the 49-year-old is wanted on charges of indecent assault on a person under 13, felony corruption of minors, and endangering the welfare of a child.  According to court records, the charges were filed in August 2017.  Police said Massey is known to frequent Northampton and Monroe counties and has ties to a business in Florida. 'Molotov Cocktail' Thrown At Empty Car In East Stroudsburg, Troopers Say State police are investigating after a Molotov cocktail was tossed at an unoccupied car parked at East Stroudsburg University, troopers said in a release.  Authorities believe the arson happened around 4 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 15. A Molotov cocktail, police said, is "a hand-thrown incendiary weapon consisting of a fragile container filled with flammable substances, containing a fuse that is lit prior to being thrown." The Monroe County District Attorney's Office is also investigating, troopers added.  Anyone with information should call PSP Stroudsburg at 570-619-6800.

Ax Murder Cold Case: $5K Reward Offered In PA Bartender's 1981 Slaying A literal ax murderer who hacked a man to death has been on the loose in Pennsylvania for more than 40 years. Edward James Joubert spent the last day of his life — Nov. 28, 1981 — working at the Bottom of the Fox Tavern, on the corner of Main and Oak streets in Delaware Water Gap, troopers said. The bar was crowded when Joubert walked around back at 5 p.m. to grab some firewood, police said.
