Pflum is charged with forgery, theft by deception, and related counts, said Forks Township police.  Investigators believe 30-year-old Pflum walked into the Fidelity Bank at 1250 Braden Boulevard in September and used a phony ID to transfer $65,000 out of a victim's account. Victim ID'd In Deadly Northampton House Fire Authorities have named the 64-year-old man who perished alongside a cat in a house fire in Williams Township on Monday, July 10.  Donald C. Coroner IDs Body Pulled From Lehigh Valley Retention Pond Authorities have identified the body found in a Lehigh Valley retention pond over the weekend.  The victim was 75-year-old Phillip Zulauf of Lower Mount Bethel Township, said Northampton County Coroner Zakary Lysek in a statement. His body was recovered from the pond on Sunday, April 9, the coroner added.  Zulauf's car and belongings were previously discovered near the small reservoir on Depues Road in Lower Mount Bethel on Friday, March 30, WFMZ reports.  The official cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, the coroner's office said.

Lehigh Valley Man Who Nearly Stabbed His Own Dad Dead In Custody: Report A 29-year-old man wanted for nearly stabbing his dad dead in Northampton County has been arrested, WFMZ reports. Giuseppe "Joey" Rizzolino fled the scene on the 900 block of Mine Lane Road in Palmer Township in a 2011 Nissan Altima around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, local police said. His dad, Joseph Rizzolino, 60, was found suffering multiple stab wounds. The younger Rizzolino was arrested sometime Sunday. He was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and four other related offenses, police said.
