Speeding Pennsylvania Driver, 29, Charged Crash That Killed NJ Grandmother
A Pennsylvania man has been charged in connection with a fatal high-speed crash in South Jersey, authorities said. Theresa Karbach, 69, of Cherry Hill, died as a result of injuries from the crash in Lawnside on May 13 at about 9:30 p.m., according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay. Anwar Parham, 29, of North Wales, PA, was charged with death by auto, driving with a suspended license and assault by auto, MacAulay said. PA Man Drove Off In Walmart Truck With $75K In Stolen Goods: Police
A North Wales man is accused of stealing a tractor-trailer from an area Walmart, Hilltown police say. Timothy Morvin, 38, allegedly made off with $74,705.56 worth of merchandise on Jan. 16, the department said. Police issued a warrant for his arrest after an "extensive investigation" and he was arraigned last Monday, Sept. 25, according to state court filings. Morvin is due in court for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 9.

Montgomery County officials are investigating a case of measles in the area. The patient is an unvaccinated child, and the Office of Public Health is conducting contact tracing "in coordination with (...) the child’s guardian," authorities said in a release Friday, July 28. A mother of two in Montgomery County faces felony abuse charges for what authorities describe as a "prolonged" period of neglect. Preetika Singh Bobal, 44, of North Wales, was arrested following a four-month investigation involving several agencies, said Upper Gwynedd police. Injured MontCo Man Attacked First Responders Who Came To Help: Police
A Montgomery County man who appeared to be injured sprang to his feet and assaulted the first responders who came to help him, according to authorities. Police in Upper Gwynedd Township were called to the area of North Wales Road and Mendham Drive for a reported medical emergency just after 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17. There, officers saw 68-year-old Harry R. Boutcher of North Wales lying partially on the road. A 54-year-old bus driver in the Philadelphia suburbs arrested on child porn charges told investigators he "went too far with his curiosity," NorthPennNow reports.
