Seven crewmembers were treated for minor injuries when three trains derailed after a collision in Lower Saucon early this month, the National Transportation Safety Board said in a new report. The collision happened on tracks parallel to Riverside Drive around 7:15 a.m. on March 2, officials have said. All three were Norfolk Southern trains. A 15-months and 14-days-old boy has been identified after being struck by a Norfolk Southen Train on Thursday. Landis Sensenig Newswanger was hit by a Norfolk Southern train running along the tracks in his backyard in the 400 block of West Main Street, South Newton Township, Cumberland County at 10:04 a.m. on Dec. 7, according to state police and later identified in his obituary. A 29-year-old man was driving a car that stopped train tracks and ending up getting pushed and rolled off the tracks, police announced on Wednesda night. Kaden Stetler of Horseshoe Road in Lancaster was driving a silver 2009 Ford Edge that stopped on the tracks in the 300 block of Willow Road for an unknown reason shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 6, according to East Lampeter Township police. A coroner was called to Norfolk Southern's railyard in Cumberland County after a man fell to his death. Emergency Dispatch Services sent a coroner to the fatal scene at the Enola Yard located at 218 North Enola Road on Wednesday shortly before 5 p.m. The man was identified as, Stuart Riggs, 58, of Mechanicsburg, according to the Cumberland County coroner.
