Pennsylvania State Police 'Failed To Stop' Causing Crash During Chase A Pennsylvania State Police Corporal and a trooper caused a crash during a pursuit on Tuesday, according to a state police release on Friday, Oct. 6.  The crash happened near the intersection of South Main Street and Mercer Avenue in Mercersburg Borough at 2:21 p.m. on Oct. 3, as detailed in the police release. Toddler Crushed To Death By Hay Bale In Central PA ID'd: Authorities Three days before his fourth birthday, a Mechanicsburg boy was crushed to death by a hay bale, authorities announced on July 13, 2023.  A large hay bale fell on 3-year-old Lincoln Nathan Johns at a farm on Davis Lane in Taylor Township on July 1, according to a Pennsylvania State Police on Thursday.  Troopers from McConnellsburg were called to Fulton County Medical Center at 10:57 a.m. They were informed the boy had died due to life-threatening injuries caused by the falling hay bale.  Lincoln's death has been ruled an accident caused by "multiple systems or organs failuring due to blunt …
