Name Released Of 29-Year-Old Man Killed By Police In Central PA A convicted felon has died following an officer-involved shooting in Lewistown, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.  Ridge Ryen Rhodes, 29 of Lewistown, is accused of firing "several shots" when local police responded to the area of the 100 block of West Fourth Street and fired back around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, according to the PSP Troop G release.  Rhodes "succumbed to injuries" after being shot by police. Jacques Rougeau Jr. was fatally wounded while Lt. James A. Wagner was injured in a separated encounter with the same shooter on Saturday, June 17 in Mifflintown, PSP said. Cake Pan Stuck On PA Toddler Required Rescue By Firefighters Firefighters in central Pennsylvania had to rescue a 2-year-old who got her head stuck in a cake pan on Monday, Feb. 6, authorities say.  Erin Meixel's daughter Quinnley apparently pulled the center off the tube pan and stuck her head inside to wear it like a cape or a shawl while she was playing, but pretty quickly released she was stuck and help was called around 12:30 p.m., according to the authorities.
