Schuylkill County Teen Missing, Possibly In Danger, State Police Say (

UPDATE: The subject of this report has been located safely, per state police. Troopers in Schuylkill County are asking for the public's help to locate a missing teen. Maryanne Snyder, 17, of Frackville, was last seen around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, near South Nice Street, state police said. She was wearing a black Reebok hoodie and a green dress, troopers said. Anyone with information is asked to call PSP Frackville at 570-874-5300. If spotted, call 911.

$10K Reward For Info On New Philadelphia Murders
Authorities are now offering $10,000 for any information that leads to the killers of Hunter Mock and Angelito Caraballo. The pair were found dead in a wooded area near Ferndale Road in New Philadelphia Borough early on Oct. 10, state police have said. Investigators believe the teens went to an area in the woods known as the Sanchez to do some target shooting with two other people days earlier on Oct. 8. Authorities have identified the driver who died after crashing in Coaldale Borough on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 7. Nicole Oplinger, 42, was near the intersection of West Water and West Miner streets around 3 p.m. when she lost control of her car and struck multiple trees, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Oplinger, of Lansford, was taken to St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem where she passed from multiple traumatic injuries around 1:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, the coroner said. Authorities are looking for the relatives of a 73-year-old Frackville man who died at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest last week. Stanley Taylor died of natural causes on Tuesday, Oct. 3, said Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. A US Navy veteran is dead after veering off Route 209 and striking a guardrail on Sunday, Aug. 13, officials say. A teenager is dead and three others injured after a car accident on Route 924, authorities say. On Facebook, loved ones identified the victim as 18-year-old Jenna M. Sallade. A Pennsylvania man accidentally shot himself in the leg while walking to his motel room in Cape May County, authorities said. Alexander Wiederhold, 30, of Frackville PA, was charged with child endangerment since he was walking with a 6-year-old at the time the gun went off in his waistband, Wildwood Crest police said. A Schuykill County man is dead following a fatal collision in Frackville, authorities say. Leonard Kristoff, 61, of Pottsville, was driving his motorcycle south on Valley Road at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, when he struck an oncoming truck that was turning left into a parking lot, state police said.
