Berks Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Step-Niece For Years A Berks County man accused of sexually assaulting his step-niece over the course of several years has been arrested and charged, authorities said. Ever Monzon-Alejandro, of Reading, was charged with two counts of indecent assault and corruption of minors, according to the Berks County Detective's Office. Monzon-Alejandro, 33, was identified as the suspect by the now 16-year-old victim in a Dec. 20, 2021 interview, according to Chief County Det. Michael J. Gombar.
