Giselle Fetterman Releases Statement After Senator Husband Checks Into Walter Reed Hospital
US Senator representing Pennsylvania John Fetterman has checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for clinical depression, according to Chief of Staff Adam Jentleson. “While John has experienced depression off and on throughout his life, it only became severe in recent weeks,” said Jentleson. “After examining John, the doctors at Walter Reed told us that John is getting the care he needs, and will soon be back to himself.” Fetterman is receiving inpatient care and is receiving treatment on a voluntary basis, according to his office. A 33-year-old woman who died in a crash into a tractor-trailer on Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania left a sad post on Facebook the day before she passed. Brandi Lynn Rapp, of Clarion, died from blunt force trauma injuries when the vehicle she was riding in collided with a tractor-trailer on Friday, Nov. 18, according to the Clearfield County coroner's office. A 59-year-old man was shot dead by state police during an hours-long armed standoff in the Poconos, authorities said. Keith Carroll was shot and killed by troopers after he walked out of his Jackson Township home armed with a handgun Thursday, June 23, Pennsylvania State Police said. Troopers were called to the home on High Point Drive around 8 p.m. after receiving a 911 call from Carroll's wife, who said her husband is depressed and had locked himself in a bedroom, police said.
