Lehigh Valley Man Dies After Being Hit By Two Cars, Coroner Says A car accident in the Lehigh Valley claimed the life of a pedestrian late on Saturday, June 10, officials say.  It happened around 9 p.m. in North Whitehall, said Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio in a statement. Christian Torres, 22, of North Whitehall, was hit by two cars near Rising Sun Road and Mauser Street.  Torres was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest about an hour later, he added. The cause of death is pending an autopsy scheduled for Wednesday, June 14, Buglio wrote.  The accident remains under investigation by state police.
