In a news release on Tuesday, May 7, Atlantic City police said 42-year-old Corey Brown of Chesapeake, VA, 43-year-old Malik Dean of Philadelphia, and 41-year-old Zara Griffiths of Paoli, PA, were arrested on Saturday, May 5. Closures for all rue21 locations are expected to be completed within the next two months with going-out-of-business sales coming soon. Penn State Alumna, Preschool Teacher, Grad Student Killed By Rare Brain Disease A 30-year-old former preschool teacher in her final year of graduate school has died of a rare brain disease possibly caused by a severe autoimmune disease, her family says.  Jennafer Alayna-Lee Palmer, a Harrisburg native, passed away at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center on Friday, Jan. 19, according to her obituary.  "She had Encephalitis, which is the swelling of the brain," her sister Jhayda Washington wrote on a GoFundMe fundraising campaign page launched to cover her final expenses. Jhayda noted that Jennafer had been suffering from a terrible case of rheumatoid arthritis.  …

VA Man, 30, Killed In Crash On Route 512 In Northampton County A 30-year-old Virginia man was killed in a Monday morning crash on Route 512 in Northampton County, authorities confirmed. Reginald Wilson was driving on Route 512 north of Sterners Way in Hanover Township when he collided with another vehicle around 8:50 a.m., the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said. Wilson, of Chesapeake, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma to the head and neck at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Muhlenberg around 9:30 a.m., authorities said. The incident remains under investigation by the coroner's office and the Colonial Regional Police Department.

Joshua Macias, 42, and Antonio LaMotta, 61 -- both of Chesapeake, VA -- were originally arrested on weapons offenses, although LaMotta's charge was dropped as he was licensed to carry in his home state.
