Ivan Perez was wanted in connection with an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a pregnant woman and her 2-year-old son, according to the Berks County Sheriff's Office.
He was arrested on Wednesday, April 13, after deputies spotted him driving on the 1300 block of North 11th Street and began following him, they said.
Perez fled for several blocks and hit several parked cars before getting out of the car and running into a nearby home, where he was captured by officers, police said.
He was taken to the Berks County Sheriff's Office Central Booking Center where he was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, strangulation, terroristic threats, and simple assault.
