Berks Man In Police Custody After Threatening To Kill Ex-Girlfriend

A Berks County man is in police custody after he made threats to kill his ex-girlfriend, authorities said.

A woman notified local police and said that her ex-boyfriend, Matthew Leroy, 46, was upset on a phone call and threatened to kill her on Dec. 26, 2020, Caernarvon Township police said.

Officers obtained a warrant for Leroy and he was later charged with terroristic threats, harassment, and disorderly conduct, police said.
