Man Beaten Until Seizure, Wanted PA Felon Caught In Pursuit, Police Say A convict has been arrested after he was seen beating another man until he began to have a seizure in a public park, Lancaster City Police announced on Friday, June 7.  Michael Shaquin Roane, 33 of Columbia Borough, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of Simple Assault and Flight on Foot, the police said and court records confirmed.  The police were called to a report of an assault that ended when a man began having a seizure in Culliton Park around 7:50 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, according to the bureau's release.  The Bureau released the following statement about the situat…

Thieves Remove ATM From Fishtown Gas Station: Philadelphia PD Detectives are looking for two men who stole an ATM from outside a Philadelphia gas station on Thursday morning, June 6.  Police said it happened at a Karko on the 2300 block of Aramingo Avenue just before 4 a.m. The suspects backed a white Ford truck up to the storefront, loaded up the ATM, then fled south on Aramingo, authorities said.  Anyone with information is asked to call East Detectives at 215-686-3243. Schuylkill County Man Faces Federal Meth Trafficking Charges Federal prosecutors have accused a Schuylkill Haven resident of selling methamphetamine.  John Kyle Smith, 40, is charged with possession with intent to distribute, said the US Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Prosecutors said the charges stem from an incident on Feb. 29.  If convicted, Smith could face up to 20 years in prison plus a period of supervised release and a fine, according to officials.  The investigation was conducted by the FBI and the state Attorney General's Bureau of Narcotics Investigations.

Police Chase In Carbon County Ends In Crash: State Police A police pursuit through Carbon County ended with a wreck that sent a 20-year-old driver to the hospital on Thursday, June 6, according to troopers.  State police said they tried to stop the driver on Route 248 in Franklin Township around 6:30 p.m. He fled for 10 miles before losing control of his car and striking a tree in Towamensing Township, authorities said.  The driver, a Lehighton resident, was air-lifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest with serious injuries. State police said the investigation is ongoing.
