Donna Gouldey, the owner of Allora Gifts & Home Decor on West State Street, made a Facebook post offering a 10 percent discount to anyone who shows a COVID-19 vaccination card at her store on Saturdays.

The post garnered more than 1,000 comments.

Some praised her. Others accused her of shaming those who did not or cannot get a vaccine.

"I won't be shopping at your store anymore. Thanks for showing your true colors," one person wrote.

"Wow!!! Such discrimination. Thank you for showing that you are against freedom. I will be sure not to patronize your business," another person added.

Despite accusations of discrimination, Gouldey is standing by the promotion.

“It is like a military discount, it is like a senior citizen discount, it’s like a ladies’ night at a bar,” she told CBS Philly.

"You’re an amazing person. I’m severely immunocompromised and you were kind enough to deliver right to my door so I didn’t have to leave the house. I’ll always support your store," one customer wrote.

"I live here in town and am glad to know that you celebrate this milestone in keeping our community safe. As a private business, I support your right to offer discounts based on whatever criteria you choose," another customer added.

"Do something today that your future self will thank you for," Gouldey said.

"Our actions and decisions today will shape the way we will be living in the future."
