PUA Theft Is Back At It, Stealing $2 Million From Central PA Banks, AG Says Two men stole approximately $2 million from banks by impersonating employees and customers – something one of them had experience doing before, authorities say.  According to the Office of the Attorney General, investigators found that the young men allegedly targeted financial institutions and consumers in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, and York Counties. Carl A. Gonzalez, 19, of Highspire, was arrested Thursday and arraigned. His bail was set at $10,000. Facebook, Instagram Unemployment Benefits Fraudsters Arrested In Dauphin County, PA AG Says Three people have been arrested for unemployment fraud in Dauphin County according to Pennsylvania's Attorney General Josh Shapiro. Tyreese Lewis, 20, Kymaury Goldsby, 21, and Dorien Ervin, 21, used stolen and solicited information to apply for benefits-- receiving more than $140,000 in Pandemic Unemployment Assistance funding. The men also applied using their own names, despite the fact that they were not out of work due to the pandemic.
