Both Drivers Ejected, Killed In Rt. 80 Rollover: Pennsylvania State Police Both drivers were ejected and killed after their vehicles overturned several times on Route 80 in the Poconos Monday afternoon, state police confirmed. Donn Innes, 68, was heading westbound when he collided with Jeffrey Bates, 31, after speeding off of the westbound lane near milepost 291.9 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, around 12:25 p.m., state police said in a press release. Lehigh Valley Man Thrown From Jeep, Killed In Route 80 Crash, NJ State Police Say A 55-year-old Lehigh Valley man was killed after being thrown from his vehicle on Route 80 before dawn Thursday, New Jersey State Police confirmed. Joseph J. Bauer was heading west in a Jeep Wrangler when he ran off the right side of the highway and crashed into a metal guardrail near milepost 26.6 in Mount Olive just before 2:50 a.m., NJSP Tpr. Kevin Cruz, 25, of Black River, NY, was pronounced dead shortly after being struck on the westbound side of the interstate highway around 2:30 a.m. Aug. 22, 2019.
