The two-vehicle happened on Hershey Road/Route 743 near Route 283 westbound around 7:15 a.m. on April 15, LCWC explained. Dynamite Explodes In Schuylkill County: What We Know
Multiple people were injured in a dynamite explosion in Schuylkill County Monday, Oct. 10, authorities confirmed. Employees of Maine Drilling and Blasting were throwing out boxes containing boosters when it exploded on West Center Street in Good Spring around 11:45 a.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police. Two workers were injured in the incident, and are expected to survive, police said. Several vehicles and a company trailer were also damaged in the blast. The investigation remains ongoing.

A pileup involving approximately 70 vehicles will shut Route 581 in Cumberland County indefinitely Saturday, March 12. The crash was reported on the eastbound side near mile marker 7.1 around 2:10 p.m., in the wake of the afternoon snow storm. It happened between exits for Route 15 and I-83. Several injuries were reported, though none were life-threatening, authorities said. Drivers sat in traffic for two or three hours, some without heat, before being reunited with their families or taken to a local firehouse for treatment.
