Obituary: PhD Student, Adjunct Professor Sara Gifford Killed A 35-year-old adjunct professor, college staff member, and Ph.D. student has been identified as the victim of a fatal tractor-trailer crash on Friday, according to the Adams County Coroner's office. Sara Gifford most recently of Dillsburg, died at the scene of the crash in the northbound lanes of Route 15 at the intersection with Bonners Hill Road in Latimore Township, authorities confirmed to Daily Voice.  The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Dec. 22, according to PennDOT.  A Life Lion helicopter was initially called to the scene and later the coroner's office was called. Woman Struck Near Home On Halloween Dies, Pennsylvania State Police Say A 61-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Friday, Nov. 3.  Christine Stewart of Hershey suffered head trauma, lost consciousness, and later died at Hershey Medical Center on Oct. 31, state police detailed. She had been walking on the edge of the road near her home on Dogwood Drive with she was struck by an 85-year-old woman's blue 2012 Subaru Impreza, according to the release.  Troopers responded to the reported crash around 2:43 p.m. The driver is also from Hershey and her name has not been released. PA Star Student-Athlete Tonee Ellis Dies In Crash On US Rt. 22 Tonee Ellis a star wrestler at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, died following a car crash on Tuesday, Aug. 1, state police said.  Troopers believe the Norristown native was driving west on US Route 22 in Perr County when his car left the roadway and hit a tree, catching fire.  The 22-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a state police report.  Born in 2001, Ellis was a graduate of Methacton High School in Worcester Township, where he launched his athletic career, loved ones said.  I love you so much Baby brother, and i will miss you so much, Even tho You ar…
