New Evidence Discovered In PA Man's 2013 Murder, Troopers Say
Investigators are hopeful that recently discovered evidence will lead them to Harry Brian Mitchell's killer. The 50-year-old was shot dead on Dec. 22 or 23, 2013, state police said in a release. Mitchell was staying at a remote cabin he owned with his wife Dorothy at 157 Lake View Lane in New Albany, Bradford County, authorities wrote. Detectives said he was at the rear of the cabin with his dog when he was fatally struck by a single bullet. The number of alleged victims of a paroled sex trafficker from New Jersey has reached four, federal authorities said. Amin Sharif, 48, of Newark had been free for a year after serving nearly a decade in federal prison when he returned to pimping women and girls, authorities said. A paroled sex trafficker from New Jersey who served nearly 10 years in federal prison was free barely a year when he returned to pimping women and girls, authorities charged. A Belleville man told a federal judge on Thursday that he advertised vehicles for sale on Craigslist and Offerup, then went out and stole them.
