The train was transporting "non-hazardous material" when several cars left the track on the Rockville Bridge closing South Main Street in Marysville, authorities at Norfolk Southern say.

The Norfolk-Southern train appears to have partially gone off the bridge, sending at least one car onto the roadway below and suspending a couple of the cars mid-air, as seen in photos shared by the Marysville fire department.

The fire department suggests the public use US 11/15 to avoid the area.

The Susquenita School District also told parents and guardians "Our transportation team will do their best to safely navigate this area this morning."

No injuries were reported as a result of this crash, authorities told Daily Voice. The area remains closed as "Norfolk Southern personnel along with contractors are on-scene cleaning the area and making repairs," a spokesman with Norfolk Southern said.
