PA Girl Missing Since Last Week, Police Say
Pennridge Regional Police Department is looking for a missing teenager. Geyahna Medwatz was last seen on Lower Rocky Dale Road in West Rockhill Township around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, authorities say. Police do not believe she has cell service and said there is "some concern for her wellbeing." No clothing description is available. Support is on the rise for the family of a 40-year-old New Jersey truck driver shot dead allegedly by a Florida man last week at a Pennsylvania truck stop. James Alexander Hilton, 40, of Southampton, NJ, was shot and killed at an I-78 truck stop in Upper Bern Township, early Friday morning, March 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police. PA Teen Pleads Guilty To Killing 12-Year-Old In 2022: DA
Ash Cooper, who previously went by Joshua Cooper, was sentenced to 15 to 40 years in prison on Thursday, March 21, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office. Cooper, 18, pleaded guilty Thursday to third-degree murder, possession of an instrument of crime, and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, prosecutors said in a release. An inmate at a western Pennsylvania prison who escaped custody last year was arrested in Philadelphia Friday morning, March 22, authorities say. Isaiah Tilghman, 33, was caught on the 3300 block of Aramingo Avenue, according to US Marshals. Tilghman was being held on drug charges and state parole violations when he fled from the Blair County Prison on Dec. 3, authorities have said.
